• Maximum of 7 changes of clothes

• 14 pair of underwear, 5 white t-shirts, (Colored t-shirts are considered shirts and should be included in count as regular shirts, 15 pair of socks, 5 undershirts/muscle.)

• 1 dress outfit

• 2 pair of pajamas

• 1 jacket

• 1 pair athletic shoes

• 1 pair of shower shoes (Required)

• Clothes Hangers

Additional Items

• 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels

• Twin sheets, comforter, and only 1 pillow

• Personal hygiene: Soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. (No more hygiene products that can fit in a small toiletry bag.)

• Necessary grooming items such as deodorant, hair care products, tooth brush, toothpaste, nail clipper, brush, comb, hair clippers, etc.

• Laundry detergent (Pods only)

• 1 laundry basket

• MP3 player with headphones (Eligible to use after moving to Phase X.)

• Cash and/or gift cards (No more than $40 at a time suggested.)

• Bus pass

• Notebook, pens, paper, etc. and a book bag for carrying step work materials.

• Cigarettes, lighter. (Smokeless tobacco is allowed but only during designated smoke breaks and smoke areas.)

• Maximum of 1 pillow

• Stamps/envelopes

• TB skin test or chest x-ray results

• 30 day supply of current medications

• Valid State ID or Driver’s License

• Insurance/Medicaid card

• Social Security Income award letter

• Food stamp card or award letter

Items Not Allowed

• Candles, incense

• Cellphones will be stored until Phase 2

• CD and DVD players, laptops, personal computers

• Clothing that is not in good condition, including transparent and non-original alterations. Short pants are acceptable

Any product containing alcohol, including but not limited to the following:

• mouthwash, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, facial astringent, cologne, hairspray, body spray, lotion, body wash, rubbing alcohol, etc. AEROSOLS ARE NOT ALLOWED!

• No clothing promoting drugs, alcohol, gangs, violence, or any other offensive symbols or statements
